Pixel Art

Pixels are not a square!
Pixel art is created through the use of raster graphics and can be used to create 2D sprits and 3D isometric sprites.
3D isomentric sprites are where you create a 3D image using a 2D software for example you can create a 3D cube using paint.

Concept Art

Concept art is a form of illustration used to convey an idea for use in games films and animations and is also refereed as visual development
Image result for concept artThe main goal of concept art is to convey a visual representation of a design, idea, and/or mood for use in films, video games, animation, or comic books before it is put into the final product. In other words, it aims to convey the overall design vision rather than specify everything in exact terms right at the start.

In art, texture appeals to the sense of touch and is the tactile feeling of an art piece. Both two-dimensional and three-dimensional art forms use texture to convey themes of the work.
In two-dimensional art, such as paintings, the thickness of the brushstrokes creates texture that draws attention to elements of the piece and creates intrigue for the viewer. Artists, including painters and oil pastel artists, experiment with styles by trying different textures in their work.

Background Graphics

The background graphics of a game would be for example the clouds in the back of Mario and the blue to show the sky and we use this because if there was no background the game would look incomplete and also would have a gap where the background should be.

In Game Interface

The game interface would include things such as a health bar and EXP.
Some other things that are included in the Interface would be things like the compass and also the Map to show were you are. usually you can go in to settings and change what shows on the interface and so this can be used in some challenges

Print Media Art

Print media would be things like posters that show off the game of choice this can help with getting your game out their and can also.
As you can see in the Mario poster it shows a lot about the game like the characters in the game and some of the enemies so that when people get the game they know a little about the game when the decide to buy it.
